Cabin Information
What time is check in and check out?
Check in time is anytime after 3:00 PM MST and check out is at or anytime before 11:00 AM MST.
Do you offer early check in?
We offer an early check in time of 1:00 PM MST for a non-refundable $75 fee, contingent on management approval. Please contact the property to request an early check in.
Do you offer late check out?
We offer a late check out time of 1:00 PM MST for a non-refundable $75 fee, contingent on management approval. Please contact the property to request a late check out.
How many cabins do you have?
We have 8 duplex studio cabins and one 2 bedroom Mountain Home cabin.
How big are your cabins?
Our 8 duplex studio cabins are 350 square feet. Our two bedroom Mountain Home cabin is 1,100 square feet.
How many beds are in your cabins?
Our 8 duplex studio cabins have one queen bed and one twin bed. Our two bedroom Mountain Home has two king beds and a queen size sleeper sofa in the family room.
How many people can sleep in your cabins?
Our 8 duplex studio cabins can sleep up to three adults, or up to two adults and two children. (Please let us know if you need an inflatable mattress for your stay). Our two bedroom mountain home cabin can sleep up to six adults.
Do your cabins have full kitchens?
All of our cabins have full kitchens equipped with a sink, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffee maker, and tables. The utensils, cookware, dishes, and coffee are provided in each cabin.
Do you provide linens for your cabins?
We provide all towels, sheets, and blankets and quits in all our cabins.
Do your cabins have fireplaces?
All our cabins have woodburning fireplaces. Please be advised that we do not provide firewood. All local gas stations and supermarkets sell bundles of firewood.
Do your cabins have heat and air conditioning?
All our cabins are equipped with heaters, and we also provide additional space heaters and fans in each cabin. None of our units have air conditioning, as the temperature is cool at night.
Do you provide daily housekeeping?
We do not provide daily housekeeping for our cabins. However, we have staff on sight every day between 11:00 AM MST and 3:00 PM MST. If you need anything, please do let us know and we would be happy to assist.
Do your cabins have televisions?
Our 8 duplex studio cabins have a 42-inch flat-screen television. Our two bedroom Mountain Home cabin has one 50-inch flat-screen television in the family room and additions TV’s in each bedroom.
Do your cabins have WiFi connectivity?
All our cabins have WiFi.
How far are your cabins from Bear Creek?
A: All our cabins are within 100 feet of Bear Creek.
Do you provide shampoo?
Yes, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dish soap, napkins, papertowels, Kleenex, coffee, creamer, sugar, salt and pepper.
Property Information
Is your property pet-friendly?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins is a pet- friendly property. Pets require a non-refundable $50 fee per unit per stay. You are responsible for picking up any of your pet’s waste on any part of the property.
Does your property have grills and picnic tables?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins has grills, picnic tables, and sitting areas outside near the creek for each cabin. We require use of briquette charcoal in the grills. There are no outdoor fires allowed on the property. The Mountain Home has a gas grill.
Does your property have parking on site?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins provides parking on site for one vehicle per cabin. Mountain Home provides parking for two vehicles.
How far in advance does your property take reservations?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins takes reservations up to 2 years in advance.
Does your property have fishing?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins is located right along the bank of Bear Creek, and you are allowed to fish there. However, you must have a fishing license and should keep up with the specific fishing regulations for Bear Creek. You can purchase a fishing license and find these regulations on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website: https://cpw.state.co.us/
Does your property provide food or beverages?
Colorado Bear Creek Cabins does not provide any food or beverages. All our cabins are equipped with a full kitchen, so you are welcome to cook your own meals.
Does your property allow smoking?
We do not allow smoking within any of our cabins or in any outdoor common areas. We do have a designated smoking area on the east end of our property.
How big is your property?
Our cabins are all within walking distance of each other.
What is the elevation of your property?
Our property is approximately 7,000 feet above sea level nestled in the Rocky Mountains.

Downtown Evergreen, Colorado is 1 mile away, which equates to a ~3-minute drive.
How far away is Evergreen Lake?
Evergreen Lake is 1.5 miles away, which equates to a ~5-minute drive.
How far away is downtown Denver, Colorado?
Downtown Denver, Colorado is 25 miles away, which equates to a ~30-minute drive.
How far away is Denver International Airport?
Denver International Airport is 45 miles away, which equates to a ~60-minute drive.
How far away is Echo Mountain ski area?
Echo Mountain ski area is 17.5 miles away, which equates to a ~30-minute drive.

There are multiple supermarkets,including Safeway, King Soopers, Walmart, & Natural Grocers, all within 8 miles of the cabins.
Are there restaurants close by?
There are many locally-owned restaurants within 5 miles of the cabins.
Are there outdoor activities close by?
There are a plethora of outdoor activities to do near the cabins, including hiking, mountain biking, paddle boarding, fishing, golfing, skiing and many other activities.
What transportation options are there?
Uber & Lyft are available in the area, however can be a bit more difficult to get. If you plan on using one of these options, we recommend you schedule them in advance. Additionally, you may rent a car to have during your stay at the cabins.
